Billington Process Technology AS (BPT) is a trusted service provider to the Oil & Gas industry working in accordance with ISO 9001. Our team members has an average of over 20 years industry experience and a proven track record of assisting clients to exploit state of the art flow assurance, process simulation and digital technologies to their maximum. Development of green fields and brown fields all starts with hydrocarbon sources. The resources are to be produced in an efficient way at lowest CAPEX and OPEX. By extending the capabilities of existing operating tools used by the global energy industry, i.e. used by the operating companies, the EPCs and the smaller specialist companies, BPT has found a complementing business in adding engineering functionality and remove repeatable workflow operations, through licensing software apps, operating on the backbone of these operating tools.
Since 2012 BPT has been successful positioning ourselves as an independent App developer and provider, for process simulator users, specifically for the Hyprotech heritage software.
For assets in operation, the BPT DOSS - Digital Operator Support System, provides a field proven digital solution. The DOSS provides high quality data and adds another layer of information using first principle rigorous thermodynamics online, in combination with predictive abilities.
BPT provides flow assurance/process solutions and studies supported by steady state and transient simulations. We are proud to be 100 % compliant to the API 521 standard allowing operators to maximize the utilization of their facilities whilst respecting the integrity limits.
