Vessels carrying cargo that produce hydrocarbon vapours require an inerting solution to eliminate the risk of explosions and fire in the cargo tanks by keeping the oxygen content below 5%. Maritime Protection Inert Gas Systems provide the highest level of safety and security for your valuable cargo. Our system produces gas containing less than 5% oxygen, hence ensuring a non-explosive atmosphere in the cargo tanks and their piping arrangement.

Cranemaster

Cranemaster shock absorbers and heave compensators

Mounted between the crane hook and the load, Cranemaster units expands vessel capabilities while protecting crane and personnel. They require a minimum of maintenance and deck space and a large fleet of rental units for lifts up to 1600 t are ready for immediate dispatch. Our engineering department can assist with analysis of all lifting phases.

Cylindrical Hull design

Sevan SSP delivers early phase concept studies to clients wishing to evaluate the use of the cylindrical hull design. During follow on engineering and field development phases, Sevan SSP delivers detailed engineering of the hull, topside interfaces and mooring system. During construction and installation, Sevan SSP contributes with hands-on engineering, construction and marine operations experience gained during the construction and installation of our units. During operation, we provide a range of support services focused on mooring, marine operations and redeployment.
Sevan SSP designs floaters to meet clients’ needs and has a dedicated, experienced team with the unique benefit of having been the only player in the world who has designed, constructed and operated cylindrical floaters.

Drain Gullies (gutters)

Drain gullies lead the water away from the deck on a floater and are at the same time a fire barrier. Often insalled between modules and hull on a floating installation like eg. FPSOs, FSOs, FSRUs and FLNGs.

Produced in a range of technical textiles make them highly flexible and fast to assemble.
Tested and approved for 350 kW/sqm Jetfire and H0 pool fire + >1,0 barg explosions.
Design life can be > 30 years in harsch conditions.
