About SURF engineering
Aker Solutions has an extensive portfolio of SURF projects with a range of technical requirements to optimize field architecture, life and production profile for our customers. We offer complete SURF engineering, including flow assurance, subsea infrastructure design and technical analysis of all relevant systems, covering all phases from feasibility to FEED to detailed design.
Our experienced engineers also provide reliable solutions for arctic challenges. They have solid knowledge on ice mechancis, iceberg impact and scouring/gouging, applying analytical and numerical methods for calculating the ice related loads exerted to subsea structures and pipelines.
For the benefit of our customers, we establish a system design that enhances the development scheme early in the design process.
